Prof Nick Lemoine interviewed on Channel 4 News about long COVID

Professor Nick Lemoine, Director of the Barts Cancer Institute at Queen Mary University of London, was recently interviewed by Jon Snow on Channel 4 News about research that is currently underway to understand long COVID. Professor Lemoine is Medical Director of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network and Chair of NIHR’s long COVID funding committee.

During the interview, Professor Lemoine highlighted that studies being undertaken across the country aim to elucidate the mechanisms involved in long COVID, and further studies are being set up to identify treatments that will be effective against the disease.
