Research Focus

My research focuses on employing multidisciplinary approaches to characterise RNA modifiers and explore their therapeutic potential to eradicate leukaemic stem cells, and to achieve haematopoietic stem cell (HSC) expansion for therapy.

My current ongoing projects include (1) exploration of the immune-modifying potential of an mRNA reader, (2) characterisation of a novel mRNA modifier in haematopoiesis and leukaemogenesis (3) investigation of HSC lineage commitment at steady state, and under pathological and pro-inflammatory conditions.
