Congratulations to Vinaya Srirangam Nadhamuni, Clinical Research Fellow at Barts Cancer Institute (BCI), Queen Mary University of London, who won the People’s Choice Award at the national final of the 2020 Vitae Three Minute Thesis® (3MT®) competition. The final took place on Wednesday 16th September, where the six finalists performed their 3MT® presentations live and online.

Speaking of her experience in the final, Vinaya said:

"It was exciting to tune into the live Vitae three-minute thesis UK final and watch the entries from the shortlisted Ph.D. students. It was an interesting array of research topics and projects. I was thrilled to win the ‘People's Choice’ Award following audience voting. I'm looking forward to using the prize money of £1000 towards public engagement activities and taking the interesting research we do in our labs to the wider public."
