Research Focus
My research uses normal human breast cells obtained through the Breast Cancer Now tissue bank as building blocks to recreate a human breast duct in the laboratory environment. Using this model I hope to manipulate the individual components that comprise the breast duct to better understand the early stages of breast cancer.
