Research Focus
My research focuses on studying the bidirectional crosstalk between normal fibroblast (NF), CAFs, matrix organisation and the acquisition of tumour amoeboid cell state in co-culture systems. My aim is to reduce aggressiveness of melanoma and increase therapy responses. For this, I will use genetic or pharmacological approaches to evaluate the immune-regulatory role of CAFs.
