Research Focus
My research is focused on the tumour microenvironment of ovarian cancer with a particular focus on the extracellular matrix and how current and novel treatments influence this microenvironment. Using ovarian cancer biopsies, pre-clinical and in vitro models, as well as computer tools, I aim to identify genes, pathways and pathological extracellular matrix patterns that are associated with poor prognosis and exploit them therapeutically to prolong survival of HGSOC patients.
